As Spring Semester begins, scholarships also begin to open...so I have decided to create a list of different scholarships and their deadlines. Enjoy and read on....

National Scholarships
Tuskegee Airmen Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility- Applicants must be students from accredited high schools who will graduate (or who have graduated) in the spring of their academic cycle. Additionally, those who apply must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least three point zero (3.0) on a four-point scale.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated Scholarships
Eligibility- The Foundation annually provides financial assistance to worthy students pursuing higher education both at the Undergraduate and Graduate levels. All scholarships are paid to the college or university and not directly to the student.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility- To be eligible for a Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship, an applicant must: Be a graduating high school senior; Plan to attend an accredited and approved four-year institution within the United States; Show leadership potential; Demonstrate a dedication to community service; Present evidence of financial need; Be a United States citizen; Have a minimum SAT score of 1,000 combined on the math and critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 21;Not possess a degree from a 2 or 4–year College when applying for the scholarship.

The Herbert Lehman Education Fund Scholarship
Eligibility- There is no minimum test score or GPA requirement. The scholarship committee will take into account each candidate’s GPA, standardized test scores, letters of recommendation, financial needs, volunteer activities, and essays. No single component of an application will determine a scholarship award.Lehman Scholarships are only available to students who will be attending four-year colleges or universities full-time. Applicants must provide a copy of their FAFSA Form, and have a family income of $65,000 or less.

Anthony Munoz Scholarship Fund
Eligibility- Be a graduating high school senior with a minimum 3.0 grade point average or a minimum composite ACT score of 18. Attend a high school in the Tri-State region, defined as the counties of: Kentucky – Boone; Bracken; Campbell; Gallatin; Grant; Kenton Indiana – Dearborn; Franklin; Ohio; Switzerland; Union. Ohio – Brown; Butler; Clermont; Clinton; Greene; Hamilton; Highland;
Montgomery; Preble; Warren. Have freshman standing by the fall of 2019, be a student entering an accredited Tri-State college or university (see list of eligible schools on site), demonstrate a desire and intent to overcome adversity, have financial need,excel academically, and fulfill a leadership role in the community, interview with member(s) of the Anthony Muñoz Foundation Scholarship, fund selection committee if chosen as finalist, attend the award ceremony held on Sunday, June 9, 2019, in Mason, OH, complete, and submit to the Anthony Muñoz Foundation , all required, materials within the stated deadlines for consideration of the award, if chosen as a winner, must maintain full-time student status and cumulative grade point average above 2.5.

Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated Scholarship Fund
Eligibility- Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Cincinnati Alumnae Chapter offers scholastic opportunities in support of the sorority’s educational thrust. The Scholastic Achievement Awards is targeted to girls that are high school seniors, college bound and have achieved a minimum 2.75 GPA. Candidates are eligible for competitive scholarship awards based on academic achievement and demonstrated leadership, community service involvement, good character/ citizenship and financial need.

Eligibility- African-American females in the Greater Cincinnati Metropolitan Area that are currently high school seniors and plan to attend a college or university upon graduation. Recipients of the scholarship will be based on academic excellence, community service involvement, financial need, and a short interview, if requested. Interested applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
